Online Study 300x200Until we have completed training of more counsellors, psychologists, and other allied health professionals in this method, only an online coaching program is available.

In recognition that some people prefer to “dip their toes” before committing to a comprehensive program,  we’ve provided a short program to support and coach people to implement the “Kill Cravings” technique described in detail in the book “Automatic Weight Loss Method”.

The two programs (short course and comprehensive program) are as follows:

Short Course

Module 1 – Exploration

In this module we help you to explore your unique experience and get very specific about precisely what we can do in the next 3 modules to get you to a desired outcome.

In the service of this outcome I’ll ask you to do some simple homework over the next week, and you can use the discussion facility in this module to get personal answers to any questions you may have about the homework.

Module 2 – Select an experiment

In this module, which you should not try to complete until your homework has been completed and debriefed, and based on what we discover from your homework, we help you to select a single food which you would like to have less of or less often and guide you to use a simple, 5-minute technique aimed at resolving thoughts, feelings, and behaviour about that food, automatically.

Module 3 – Consolidation

This module allows you to debrief, repeat with another chosen food, and test how well you’ve mastered the technique for self use.

Module 4 – The wrap up

In this module, we ask you to deepen your skills by “teaching back” via video upload, so we can ensure you have perfectly mastered it and can get the results you want from here on.

Comprehensive WeightChoice(TM) Program

Module 1 – Foundations of WeightChoice(TM)

The four units in this module allow us to share how and why WeightChoice works, and we also begin to get to know you as an individual with quite unique tastes, habits and patterns around food. This gives us the starting material we need in order to show you results even right from the beginning.

Module 2 – The Kill Cravings Technique

This module serves as a refresher and contains everything from the short course.

Module 3 – Emotional Eating

Quite apart from desire for specific food, overeating often happens as a result of particular emotional states, both positive and negative.

The three units in this module show you how to identify those emotional links, and then to erase them, using an SDR Therapy technique that is more appropriate for dealing with emotional material, rather than the straight out “overliking” which we address in Module 2.

Module 4 – Identity and Body Weight

The way you think about yourself, consciously or unconsciously, can end up controlling your perceptions, attitudes, and behaviours including eating behaviours. In this module, consisting of three units, you’ll also see that this can include self sabotage.

Module 5 – Mindless, Habitual, or Situational Eating

Many times people don’t even recall eating, or they may be aware that they’re habitually eating when they’re not hungry in certain situations. Here we share some fast and easy ways to free you of these types of non-hungry eating.

Module 6 – Your Brain Loves Metaphor

Your brain loves metaphor and symbols so much that it dreams in them! In this module we share a technique involving metaphor that has been responsible for incredibly dramatic changes in the way people perceive themselves, and subsequently behave.

Module 7 – Responding Resourcefully to Criticism

We know that when people make changes it’s not always comfortable for those around them. This can result in criticism or unfair demands being made, and can result in sabotage.

This module will empower you to take care of yourself, at the same time maintaining great relationships with those nearest and dearest to you.

Module 8 – Deep Dive

We actually agonised a little over whether to place this module sooner in the program. But of course you don’t have to wait until the end to take advantage of it!

This module serves as a wrap for the program, and also supports you to examine and deal with all of the lifestyle and other issues that could prevent you from making the most of the program.

In the past we’ve found that people can be really keen to speed through the program, and maybe skip the proper implementation of what they’re learning.

So this can also be an opportunity to go back to the very beginning of the program, and this time do it properly – really taking time to learn and practice the material, and also joining us and fully participating in the expert support available.

Of course we don’t demand participation – we invite you.

What you can expect

People are of course unique, and it’s important to respect individual requirements and desired pace of the work. Likewise different people are likely to experience different outcomes.

However our expectation is that you have a vivid and real experience of what it’s like to in one moment have an unwanted food preferences, and then in a matter of moments find that the preference has resolved, and it seems natural to want that food significantly less, or even not at all, just as you can see in the videos below.

These are not polished commercial videos – they were simply filmed in my office, on my mobile phone.

Jacquie said fries were her "guilty pleasure"

Jacquie’s fries were a regular treat on the way home from work and added close to an extra meal a day. It’s not surprising that without the urge to eat them, her weight dropped dramatically. 

It’s not always that dramatic – depends on how big an impact the particular food has had.

Individual Coaching

Unfortunately at this time individual coaching has little availability and is open only to people who’ve enrolled in the either the short or comprehensive program described above.

Available hours may be limited by time zone (Perth, Western Australia). 

Coaching sessions of 60 minutes may be booked in blocks of four, at $AUD297 each .
